The Only Direct TV Review You’ll Ever Need

August 7th, 2007 by admin

If you’re thinking of signing up with a satellite TV provider, you may think there’s not much difference between the major providers.  That’s what I thought. And there are a number of similarities.

Most companies offer free equipment and installation, practically all of them offer some sort of discount or promotion, (although they change them constantly) and many companies have comparable package prices.  On the surface, it may appear that it doesn’t really matter who you decide to go with, but there are subtle differences that lie beneath the surface and only come to light with some in-depth research.

In my long hours spent looking for information, I noticed something very peculiar about the way these companies present their deals – they almost never put them on the main page of their websites.

Instead, they always “hide” them away on some interior page. I guess they figure that some people will just wind up buying one of their higher-priced packages if they don’t know where to look.

Don’t be that guy. Save yourself hours of frustration by clicking here and going right to the very best deals Direct TV has to offer.

If I’d known about that little tactic earlier, maybe I wouldn’t have spent so much time slogging through worthless sites full of outdated information. You can save yourself a huge amount of time by starting right here first (go ahead and click on the link).

But back to the review…

After doing some in-depth research I learned some interesting facts about Direct TV that ultimately led me to become a subscriber.  I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. Direct TV has been providing their viewers with the best programming available since 1994 and by 1995 had a million customers. Today that number is well over 15 million. How did they do it?

Direct TV continues to attract new subscribers while keeping happy the ones they already have by offering exclusive benefits available only through Direct TV — things like NFL Sunday Ticket, previews of new FX series before they air, interactive mix channels with up to 8 live shows on one screen, and musical events seen nowhere else.

If you enjoy watching TV in high definition, Direct TV currently offers 900 hours a week of HD programming and in the near future will have over 150 channels of HDTV. If you haven’t seen what high definition can do for your TV viewing enjoyment, you have no idea what a treat you’re missing. Find out more about Direct TV’s HD programming by clicking here.

I’m happy with Direct TV for many reasons, but one of the biggest is the number of movies they offer. With over 30 premium movie channels and more than 70 pay-per-view channels, I’m never without a movie to watch. And I never have to stand in line for tickets or visit the video store and be forced to choose something else because the one I want is out of stock.  Direct TV gives me three different ways to order; by phone, online or with my remote, and I can place my order any time of the day or night, seven days a week.

I should mention the global programming available from Direct TV. You can choose from more than 80 channels around the world including Arabic, Greek, Italian, Filipino, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Vietnamese and more. That number doesn’t even include over 55 Spanish language channels. I personally don’t watch those much, but maybe they’d appeal to you.

So there you have it. I hope that helps you make a decision.

And don’t forget, make sure you click here for the best Direct TV deals. You can thank me later.
