Well here we are, knee-deep in the muck and mire that is the holiday shopping season. I have to admit a certain weakness for giving (and wishing for, but not necessarily getting) tech gadgets around this time of year. The reason why I bring it up is because I just came across what may very well be the ultimate gadget gift of all time — SAT-GO from Direct TV.
The world’s first portable satellite TV system, SAT-GO is getting rave reviews from, among other places, The Sporting News, who named it this year’s MVP (most valuable gift). Frankly, this is one time I have to agree with the Grey Old Lady of sports coverage. But at around a grand for the set-up, I honestly don’t think there’s any way it’ll be under my tree this year. Unless those elves get pretty damn busy and scare me up one by December 25th.
